Bubbles + Massage = Luxuriant Home Spa

Bathroom design at its finest and most innovative was on display at the recent Mobile del Salone Milano (Milan Furniture Fair) – the biggest interior design event in the world.

The fair showcased emerging trends in bathrooms and confirmed the evolution taking place in Australian and New Zealand bathrooms from mere ablutions space to refined and elegant home spa.

Lighting and technology are set to play an even more integral part in the transformation of a previously one-dimensional, under-utilised space into a health, wellness and relaxation retreat.

In line with this accent on rejuvenation and revitalisation in the bathroom, Kohler continues to build on its ‘home spa’ products with the release of a further three models in its BubbleMassage category.

These baths look, at first glance, like a sleek and refined version of a conventional bath – but at the touch of an electronic control they become a luxuriant, pampering spa bath emitting thousands of bubbles filled with warm air that massage and support the entire body.

The three latest releases in the Kohler BubbleMassage category are the Evok, Escale and Ove designs. Each deliver the same experience but display slightly different design aesthetics.

The Kohler Evok BubbleMassage bath is available in both freestanding and drop-in formats, the freestanding – in oval and rectangular design – making a striking design statement in any bathroom with its strong lines and elegant plinth.

The Escale BubbleMassage freestanding and drop-in baths are far more organic in design than the Evok, while the Ove (available in drop-in only) features clean, simple lines in a rectangular format.

All Kohler BubbleMassage baths are made from high grade acrylic and vary in dimensions from 1775x870mm (Escale) to 1700x750mm (Evok and Ove). The Escale, Evok and Ove baths also have optional head pillows for the ultimate in relaxation.
