Global Media Conference covers Trends in Bathroom Design
This week magazine editors from around the world converged on the Kohler Village, Wisconsin, USA for the Kohler company's third international editors’ conference. A much anticipated event, more than 31 editors from 13 countries attended representing the globe’s leading interior and lifestyle titles such as House & Garden, Elle Decor, Homes & Gardens, Hello!, Living Etc and Ambientes. Diversity and cross cultural input was assured with attendees from UK, Australia, South East Asia, China, Russia and South America.
Hot topics were industry insights into the future of bathroom design, emerging technology, sustainability and the changing culture of bathing with keynote speakers including Mark Bickerstaffe, director of new product development and Tristan Butterfield, creative director.
Editors reported another key feature of the event was the meeting of counterparts from diverse cultures and the swapping of ideas and information.
